Over the past few months, most of the work has been happening behind the scenes. Some of it creative, some of it practical, and a lot of it focused on stepping back to make sure the next phase is built on the right foundation.
Now, that foundation is starting to hold.
Building the Right Team and Tools
One of the biggest steps forward has been team building. We are currently expanding the support system around the brand, with plans to potentially bring in one more person. Interviews are expected to begin next month, and that process alone signals growth.
For a space rooted in emotional dance music, soulful EDM, and meaningful connection, the people involved matter. This isn’t just about producing more. Rather, it’s about improving quality, consistency, and the overall experience.
At the same time, our video studio gear purchases are now complete. That’s a major milestone. Visuals play a huge role in how music connects today, especially in a genre built on feeling and atmosphere.
Whether it’s performance clips, storytelling visuals, or behind-the-scenes content, having the right setup gives us more control over how the DLK Soulful EDM world is presented.
Creating the Space for What’s Next
The next step is moving into studio renovations, which we’re aiming to begin in late June. Like any build-out, it will take time and adjustment, but the goal is clear—create a space that supports both sound and visuals at a higher level.
Alongside that, production is expected to pick back up in late May or early June. That’s where things start to open up creatively again. There are ideas waiting to be developed, directions being refined, and a growing sense of momentum returning.
This phase hasn’t been about rushing. It’s been about aligning everything properly so that when the music comes, it comes with clarity.
